Training and Development
The Tsuut’ina Training and Development Institute offers education and training programs using the cohort style of learning as the most efficient and effective approach to learning. The education and training programs are created in alignment and in support of the strategic goals of the Tsuut’ina Nation. The cohort style of learning ensures a higher student retention rate and allows for graduates to possess the necessary skills and knowledge to enter the workforce or to enhance their current job. The design of appropriate and effective curricula also ensures Tsuut’ina adult learners experience relevance and achieve academic excellence. In addition, the Training and Development Institute is facilitating the design and implementation of the One-Window Service Delivery System in collaboration with the other adult learning programs and services of the Tsuut’ina Nation. Individual funding assistance is available for those who do not meet eligibility requirements from other programs, however the assistance is limited to books and supplies only.
