Kelsey Big Plume
Kelsey Big Plume is a newly elected Council member of the Tsuut’ina Nation since November 2016. She will be a member of Council for the term of 2016-2019. She is the fifth woman leader elected since 1877.
She graduated with a General Studies Diploma from Mount Royal College in 2006. She then went on to pursue her Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Culture with a minor in Anthropology from the University of Calgary in 2009.…

Stanley Big Plume
Stanley was first elected as Councillor for the Tsuut’ina Nation in 2002 and has since served his community for 2 terms, with the start of his recent term in 2014. He is the Council Representative for the Programs Portfolio. Working closely with Public Works, Recreation and The Agriplex Program, as well as the Youth Program. He currently sits on many Chief & Council Committees such as the Tsuut’ina Nation Finance/Treasury Committee and also Co-Chairman of Tsuut’ina Education.…

Steven Crowchild is a Tsuut’ina Isgiya, father, and a current elected member of the Tsuut’ina Nation Xakujaa-yina/Chief and Council. Prior being elected to leadership in 2019, Steven served the Tsuut’ina Nation in the capacity of Education Services Agreement Coordinator for the Tsuut’ina Education Department, where he worked to improve student outcomes through the development of innovative approaches to education, as well as advocating for improved student services through service agreements.…
Vincent was first elected as councilor in 2002 and has since served his nation for 6 terms a total of 12 years. He is the current portfolio Holder of the Nations Essential Services. Working along side some of the following; Fire Department, Language Program, Citizenship Department and Child & Family Services to name a few. He also currently sits on a number of Chief & Council Committees that include; Demolition/Re-Build Committee, Chuckwagon Committee and Oversight Committee.…
Brent was elected in 2008 and has since served his nation for 8 years. He is the current Portfolio holder for companies, working along side Tsuut’ina Contracting, Sarcee Developments, Sarcee Gravel and the Emergency Response Team to name a few.

Lyle Dodginghorse was elected as a Council member of the Tsuut’ina Nation in 2002, and has since served the people for seven terms and a total of fourteen years. He is a current holder of the Economic Development portfolio for the 2014-2016 term.

Ellery Starlight was elected as Council member in 2010 and has since served his nation for 6yrs, the current portfolio holder for Legislative Procedures for the 2014-2016 term. Ellery actively sits on the Tsuut’ina Department of National Defense Committee, Hospitality Board, Finance Committee and Oversight Committee.
He has earned his Environmental Science Certificate in 1994 as well as his Mediation Trainer with Dr Larry Fong Association in 2000.…
